Privacy policy

What we collect
Your phone number, name, city and locality, and — for students — the tuition requirement you post. For tutors, we also collect qualifications and ID documents for verification. We never collect more than we need to make a match.
Where your contact details live
Your phone number and address are stored in a separate, restricted part of our system (we call it the contact vault). It is only ever read at the moment a verified tutor spends credits to unlock your requirement, or when you unlock a tutor — and only after you have given consent.
Who can see your contact details
Nobody, until you consent and an unlock happens. Even our own staff cannot browse contact details outside of that single, logged transaction.
How long we keep data
We keep your account and transaction history as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we anonymize your profile and contact details immediately while retaining anonymized financial records as required by law.
Your rights under DPDPA
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase your account entirely at any time from Settings. We will process erasure requests within a reasonable time and confirm once complete.
